DivineADU ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Who we are

DivineADU is an Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU) project studio serving homeowners across Ontario, Canada. You can reach us any time at info@divineadu.com or (437) 605-8772.

What we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us when you submit a form on this site, which may include your name, email address, phone number, property address, details about your property and project, and your communication preferences.

We also collect limited technical information automatically through standard server logs — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view — to keep the site secure and reliable. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and icons from unpkg.com, so those services receive your IP address and browser details when you visit; they set no cookies for us. If you interact with us on Instagram, that activity is handled by Instagram under its own privacy policy, not ours.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiries, prepare property-specific feasibility reviews, send the pricing or resources you requested, and occasionally follow up about your project. We do not use your information for any unrelated purpose.

Legal basis

We rely on your consent. By submitting a form on this site, you consent to our collecting and using the information you provide for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

How long we keep it

We retain active lead records for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, after which they are deleted unless you have become a client and we have a continuing business reason to keep them. Standard server logs are retained for approximately 90 days.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with subcontractors who are strictly necessary to deliver the services you have requested — for example, designers, engineers and municipal permit applications — and only under confidentiality obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request corrections, and to withdraw your consent to our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@divineadu.com and we will respond promptly.

Cookies

This site uses functional client-side storage only (for example, to remember your progress within a form). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Data security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit to protect your information. This website and the enquiries submitted through it are hosted by Hostinger on servers in the United States, and our email is hosted by Hostinger in the European Union, so your information may be stored and processed outside Canada and may be accessible to authorities under the laws of those countries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
